Apps from Planetek

We do not only build software for clients. We ship our own products on the same AWS patterns we sell, run them in production, and pay their bills every month. The first one you can install today is GovCon Radar, on the App Store and Google Play.

The catalog

Software we build and run

Each product below is live, on sale, and supported by us. When a new one reaches the stores it gets its own page here.

GovCon Radar

A federal contracting radar for small businesses. It reads every active SAM.gov notice daily, scores the ones in your codes against your capability profile with the reasoning shown, and writes a go or no-go brief that is allowed to tell you to pass. Free to download, with a free plan that never asks for a card.

More in the workshop

Other products are in the build queue, and we would rather show you one that is live than a list of things that are not. As each reaches the App Store and Google Play it appears on this page with its own write-up, the same way GovCon Radar did.

Why it matters to you

A consultancy that carries its own pager

Shipping our own product puts us on the other side of every recommendation we make. We pay the AWS bill, answer the support email, and pass store review, which is a different kind of evidence than a reference architecture.

  • The bill is ours GovCon Radar runs on the same free-tier-first discipline we apply to client accounts, and we publish what our environments cost in the field notes.
  • The uptime is ours Ingest runs every day against a live federal data source, so the retries, the dead-letter queues, and the alarms are ones we wrote and get woken by.
  • The review is ours Apple and Google both reviewed the app and its privacy disclosures before release, on accounts and pipelines we set up ourselves.
  • The code is the same Terraform for every resource, keyless CI/CD over OIDC, and least-privilege IAM, which is exactly what our managed AWS engagements and the twelve environments on the boardwalk are built on.

Your turn

We build applications for clients too

Most of our work is not our own products. If you have an application to build, a website to replace, or a mobile app to get into the stores, that is the application delivery practice, and it runs in your AWS account with the code and the domain in your name.

The public portfolio is worth opening before you call: the Alpenglow permit portal is a full React and TypeScript application with sign-in and role-based views, and the infrastructure behind it is on GitHub.

Install the app, or talk about building yours

GovCon Radar is free on both stores. If you want an application of your own, email info@planetek.org, call 303-356-2782, or use the contact form and we will reply within 24 hours.
