Planetek is based in Colorado. If you are looking for AWS consulting in Denver, Colorado Springs, Boulder, or anywhere along the Front Range, we are close enough to meet in person. Most engagements run remotely with the same cadence either way: a named senior engineer, a shared backlog, and infrastructure you can read in a pull request.

Before you email us
Can you take over an AWS account someone else built?
Yes, and that is the most common starting point. The fixed-fee assessment maps what exists, flags risks, and gives you a prioritized roadmap. Nothing has to be rebuilt for us to start working, and the roadmap is yours to keep even if we never speak again.
Do we still own everything?
Always. The AWS account stays in your name, every resource is defined in Terraform in a repository you control, and offboarding is a documented handover. We do not build anything you cannot read.
What does managed service include month to month?
Monitoring and alerting, patching, backup and restore drills with measured recovery times, security posture review, and a cost-optimization pass, summarized in a monthly report from the engineer who did the work. There is no long-term lock-in.
How do you keep the AWS bill down?
Free-tier-first architecture, scale-to-zero services, budget tripwires, and a monthly cost review. The twelve demo environments behind this site run on those patterns, and their July 2026 bill came to under nine dollars.
